Terms and Conditions for Survey Participants

By taking part in a Civic Loop survey, you agree to the following terms:

Voluntary Participation

Participation in surveys is voluntary; however, some questions may be mandatory and cannot be skipped. If you are uncomfortable answering a required question, you may choose to exit the survey at any time.

Anonymous Responses

Unless otherwise stated, your responses are anonymous. Your email is used only to manage your subscription to survey topics and is not linked to your answers.

Identity Linking via Secure Forms

Some surveys may include a Secure Forms question type. If you choose to complete these questions, your responses may be linked to your identity for verification or follow-up. You will be clearly notified when this applies.

Use of Responses

Your responses will be shared with the council or organisation that issued the survey. This data is used to understand community feedback and improve local services.

Data Ownership

The organisation conducting the survey owns the collected data. Civic Loop provides the platform but does not claim ownership of your responses.

No Sensitive Information

Do not submit identifying information unless specifically requested in a Secure Form. Standard survey questions are not intended to collect personal data. Sensitive data like Medicare, Government ID, etc. should not be entered into a survey even with our encrypted secure forms.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued participation indicates your acceptance of the latest version.
